I’m Joy Perez, the artist and owner behind every piece. I’ve been incredibly lucky to create meaningful work for so many people, and I carry deep gratitude for that. Every project is a chance to express my art and share a small piece of my heart.

Art has always lived in me. I was a child who leaned naturally toward creating, always working with my hands. I’m left-handed, yet somehow just as skilled with my right, which let me explore every form of art I could touch. I never took classes. I created simply because it made me happy.

In 2020, I was studying Biomedical Engineering when the pandemic changed everything. With unexpected time and very little money, we decided to pursue the dream we had been carrying quietly in our minds. Not long after, I left school, then my job, then we hired our first employee… and suddenly, here we are.

Born under a dictatorship, you learn quickly to appreciate every breath of freedom. You recognize it instinctively, even before you have words for it. The first time you taste it, you know.

I tasted it when my family brought us to the United States. Even then, washing the floors of a pharmacy bathroom, secretly listening to Thomas Sowell and Milton Friedman through one earbud, I knew. From day one, I knew what I would do with my life. I was not afraid. I was electric with excitement.

I began turning dreams into plans, and plans into motion, and motion into results. I chased freedom, and entrepreneurship became the road. Not the only road, but the one I could walk. I wanted every success and every failure to carry my name. There is no feeling more alive than that.

And here we are, still walking, still building, still becoming. Achieving things we never take for granted, even when they feel unreal. Sometimes the only explanation is grace.
